The 19-year-old Rokfeller de Plevile Bois Margot jumped clear over fences in GCL Round 2 before jumping clear in a tough LGCT Grand Prix to finish fourth. An Elo boost of 19 points consolidates his position as the highest-rated horse in Spain. He is also the only 19-year-old horse in the world to have jumped at least 3 clears at 5* 160 level in the last 12 months.

Only 1 other horse of that age has competed at the five-star level in 2024 so far. Bull Run’s Faustino de Tili competed in the five-star at Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington this winter, but only hhas an Elo of 463, 259 Elo points less than Rokfeller.

The youngest climber in this list is Shane Sweetnam’s RR Combella. A clear in Friday’s Qualifier, followed by a clear in the Grand Prix has boosted RR Combella’s Elo by 10 points. This means RR Combella is just 1 point away from becoming the highest-rated 10-year-old horse in the world.
