A Season for the Ages

Scott Brash has rewritten the record books once again. His win in the CSIO5*-LLN Grand Prix of the City of Barcelona marks his sixth five-star Grand Prix or World Cup victory of 2025, officially making this his most successful season to date. Across more than a decade at the top of the sport, Brash has shown remarkable consistency and precision, but 2025 has elevated his legacy even further. With three horses each securing two five-star Grand Prix wins, his string has proven to be among the deepest and strongest anywhere in the world.

Sixth Win Seals a Career-Defining Year

Barcelona was the moment that sealed it. Riding the 10-year-old Hello Folie, Brash delivered yet another cool-headed performance under pressure to add another five-star Grand Prix victory to his growing 2025 tally. That win followed triumphs in Doha, Shanghai, St. Gallen, St. Tropez, and Calgary, six different venues, six elite wins, three different horses.

Since 2010, only 12 times has a rider managed five or more CSI5* Grand Prix or World Cup wins in one season. Scott Brash has done it three times. He joins names like Kent Farrington, Martin Fuchs, and McLain Ward, but 2025 stands alone as a testament to his versatility and consistency across surfaces, continents, and conditions.
