Elo Movers & Shakers: Dutch do good business on home turf

Uricas vd Kattevennen is the biggest Elo gainer of the past weekend after a great performance from the Dutch duo on home soil in ‘s Hertogenbosch. A seventh place in Friday’s Qualifier & a third place in the Rolex Grand Prix has allowed Uricas to enter the Top 100 Elo-rated horses in the world. He is now the fourth highest-rated horse in the Netherlands.
Two fifth place finishes in ‘s Hertogenbosch have allowed Denis Lynch’s Brooklyn Heights to boost his Elo by 20 points, now re-entering the Top 100 Elo-rated horses in the world.
A stellar first Wellington week of 2024 for Harry Charles with a great campaign on Aralyn Blue. Three top 10 placings, including a 150 win, boosted Aralyn Blue’s Elo by 10 points.
The star of the weekend, the Rolex Major Grand Prix winner and current Grand Slam defender, Highway TN boosted his Elo by 7 points. He is now the third highest-rated horse in the Netherlands, which puts him in a superb position at the start of an Olympic year.
The winner of the CSI4* Ocala Grand Prix, Andre Thieme’s DSP Chakaria, has boosted her Elo by 3 points. This was her first international competition since August 2023.
Luciana Lossio competed in her first ever 5* Grand Prix & made it a winning debut. Her mare Lady Louise JMEN entered WEF9 on an Elo of 601 and their victorious weekend boosted their Elo by 59 points.
